Looking up.

Life has been great lately. I got promoted at work! Now make a dollar and 35 cents more than before, and I get a key!! I get Penny Lane, my new puppy in 5 days, and I'm absolutely ecstatic about it. I'm going to be working a lot more, which means more money and more toys for the puppy :) Get to babysit some rug-rats tonight, that's always a good time. Basically, I'm happy :)

Work

Putting Edge is the acid lover's haven. If you only knew how many people came in there on drugs. Whenever anyone goes in there, adult, teen, whatever, I'm sure in the back of their mind they are thinking, "Holy Fuck this place would be sweet on acid." My job is to stand there and encourage people to trip. I hand them their putter, telling them to "Have fun!". It's great, really. As a job it really isn't that bad. Sure, it sucks working weekend nights but it's almost worth it to see the kinds of people that go in there.

The only thing that really does completely suck about the job is running a party with a bitchy party mom. It's the worst. They can be the biggest assholes. It's almost like you want to punch their kid in the face before they turn into their parents.

With all that said. I have to work tonight.

Stephanie Toy

It seems as if everything falls into place when I see one of my best friends, Miss Stephanie Toy. We just work so well together. The most average conversation is made so energetic and up beat with us. I have to admit, she was what I missed most when I was at State. I didn't have any friends there that reminded me of her, like some of my other best friends. It wouldn't be summer without her. In fact, even though my summer started almost a month ago, summer didn't really start until we just saw each other for the first time in months. It now feels like summer.

So that's my ode to Stephanie Toy. Cheers to best of summers together.

Puppy.

So, my new puppy, Penny Lane, has an umbilical hernia :( No worries, I guess it's kind of like a "doggie-outtie belly button" if you will. Hopefully all is well. We will find out in 2 weeks! Other than that, life is slow. Going to Canada on friday for Calla's birthday! Should be a swell time :) Get to wear a new dress! Basically, I'm going to look hott...

Anyways, I'm supposed to be cleaning/unpacking but it's a hard thing to do when I have absolutely no motivation to do so :-/

Week.

Play. Work. Play. Play. Play. Play. Work.

That's my week.

I get my puppy in 3 weeks. So stoked. I have to babysit today for my baby cousin, then off to work at the lovely Putting Edge, where hopefully I'll get paid today! <3 Pay day. My room isn't livable anymore. I can't see the floor. That's when you know it's time to unpack. I miss the laid back-ness of East Lansing. Especially when it's nice out. This is the time that I'd be out on grand river getting a Thai Tea from Bubble Island. Mmm, Thai Tea. After today I basically have the whole week off until Sunday. Someone call me for plans.

Home.

Lets see. I can't even move in my room. It's packed with a bunch of shit I thought I used and realized I never use...EVER. Work has picked up where it started when I first worked at Putting Edge, when I loved it and thought all was joyous and merry, until I met Jofar, the evil vacuum cleaner. Seriously though, I don't know what I thought was so bad about PE. It's not awful. However the staff now is a lot better, that could help. I've learned that babysitting doesn't suck as bad as I thought it did when I was in high school, plus you can make good cash. I bought a puppy, at least put a down payment on one. I pick her up the first week of June, woohoo!

I got my grades back from second semester which have led me to taking online classes this summer to boost my GPA. School has become my number one. I've also decided that Michigan State University is my first love, and with that comes all the fights we have, like about all of it's shitty traits that I can't stand- the professors, the way the grades are calculated, the advisors, etc. Like a normal relationship should be.

I love Brian Gould. He's pretty much my best friend aside from Loren Fenn who doesn't count cause she's like my sister from another mister. I worry about my best friends. Always. Just know, you are all in my thoughts and prayers, always, every single one of you, even the ones I can't stand from time to time.

I'm going to East Lansing tomorrow to hang out with Bri and take care of some business. I'll stay until Friday, come back with Bri to take care of his Macbook Pro, and then saturday it's back to work. Monday I start my class. Summer sure is flying.

Sorry for the scatter people, but you have to know by now, my ADD will never be cured.
